Regatta Park
Located alongside Biscayne Bay in Miami’s historic Coconut Grove neighborhood, Regatta Park is a great place to take your pet. After going for a walk along the piers and boat slips, or checking out the pet-friendly restaurants along Bayshore Drive, finish up your stroll at Regatta Park and be sure to stop for some shade under one of the three FPL SolarNow canopies. These canopies offer a respite from the heat while generating emissions-free energy for one of Miami’s oldest neighborhoods.

This park in the heart of Naples not only offers a state-of-the-art water park, baseball fields and a variety of learning opportunities – it also offers the chance to take your furry friend on a two-and-a-half mile, beautiful walking trail. While you’re enjoying the outdoors, North Collier Regional Park’s six solar canopies can shade to your car and let you see solar energy generation up close.
Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park
Named after one of Fort Lauderdale’s first Black police officers, this park features a 17-acre fishing-friendly lake and offers free after-school programs. In addition, Reverend Delevoe Memorial Park boasts walking trails, a fitness facility, and a picnic area. Be sure to stop by the FPL SolarNow canopy to give your pet a shady water break after chasing its favorite toy.
Riverfront Veterans Memorial Park
Located along the stunning Halifax River in South Daytona, visit the Riverfront Veterans Memorial Park to take your dog for a walk along the piers and boardwalk. As you fish, take in the view as your four-legged friend roams the park and learn more about how solar energy works by stopping by the two FPL SolarNow solar trees that blend in seamlessly with the park.
