As temperatures fall into the freezing 60s here in Florida, it’s time to enjoy the holiday season with family and friends. Whether you are rockin’ around the Christmas tree or spinning dreidels this December, there is a fun-filled event for the whole family hosted by an FPL SolarNow partner near you!

Zoo Lights at Zoo Miami

Zoo Miami will open at night for special events throughout December with more than half a million bright, animal-shaped lights and dazzling tree lights! Join us to kick off Zoo Lights on Nov. 29 at the tree lighting ceremony and enjoy free snowman’s riverboat rides, holiday shopping, music and more. And don’t forget to visit our FPL SolarNow ambassadors for giveaways! The lights stay on through Dec. 29.

Zoo Lights at Palm Beach Zoo

This month, Palm Beach Zoo is turning into a glittering oasis from Thursday through Sunday nights for the first time! From Nov. 29 to Dec. 29, the Zoo will be illuminated for the holidays with over one million eco-friendly lights starting each night at 6 p.m. Check out the unique displays, enjoy special animal encounters and plenty more festive holiday fun.

North Pole Pajama Party at MODS

Bring the whole family out to South Florida’s largest pajama party at the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale! Every weekend from Nov. 30 to Dec. 22, come at 9 a.m. for the party and stay for the museum exhibits, a holiday science show, fun food activities and activity stations. A pajama party ticket also includes a viewing of The Polar Express in IMAX 3D at 11:05 a.m.

8th Annual Ocean-Reef-Beach Festival

It’s a local tradition! Celebrate the “salt life” at Pelican Beach Park in Satellite Beach with local ocean-centric crafts, live music, food trucks, educational exhibits and more. The event starts at 10 a.m. on Dec. 7 and benefits non-profit environmental organizations.

Photos with Santa at Palm Beach Zoo

Whether your kids have been naughty or nice this year, they can still come get a photo with Santa at Palm Beach Zoo on Dec. 7 and Dec. 14! Enjoy all the zoo has to offer after taking a photo with Santa, including the Wildlife Carousel and holiday crafts for the kids to take home. Admissions is FREE for SolarNow participants!

City of Palm Coast Starlight Event and Parade

Come on down to the City of Palm Coast Starlight Event and Parade for an afternoon filled with fun at Central Park! On Dec. 14, the good times begin at 4 p.m. with live entertainment and the arrival of Santa himself, who will be posing for pictures. The parade starts at 7 p.m., with brilliant lighted floats and roaring marching bands. Don’t forget to share your pictures!

Winter Fest at Naples Zoo

Have a holly jolly Winter Fest at Naples Zoo on Dec. 21 and Dec. 22, where guests can meet Santa, play games and enjoy holiday music to get them in the holiday spirit—and of course see all of the exotic animals housed at the 43-acre zoo.
