MAST@FIU Biscayne Bay Campus

The only university-based public high school in Florida, MAST@FIU is also the only magnet school in Miami-Dade County Public Schools that specializes in Marine and Environmental Science. With a focus on the future, MAST@FIU partnered with FPL to implement an innovative, 114-panel solar canopy at the school’s state-of-the-art facility. This solar canopy generates low-cost, emissions-free energy and provides both students and visitors with shade as they walk the grounds.
