Florida’s known for palm trees — how about solar trees? New ones pop up at Port Canaveral

Florida Today – Solar energy grows on trees in Brevard County, as five new solar trees were dedicated in the area, next to Exploration Tower and at Jetty Park by officials from Port Canaveral and FPL. That’s 11 trees total now for the Space Coast as FPL continues to push solar initiatives across its coverage area and progresses with one of the largest solar expansions ever in the eastern U.S.
