Harvest Some Solar Fun

Want to enjoy the holiday season from the comfort of your own home?

Add a splash of color to a gord-geous fall scene with everything you’d expect: leaves, pumpkins, and friends like “Sunny”, the talking virtual solar tree that teaches you about solar energy. Click here to download the fall coloring sheet.

While you’re staying in, sipping apple cider, be sure to add a warm glow to your pumpkin-carving festivities by using our solar energy pumpkin carving sheet. Click here to download the pumpkin carving sheet.

And after a long day of fun activities, wrap up in a fuzzy blanket and relax with one of our clean energy word searches, which can be downloaded by clicking here. Whether out and about or comfortably cozy, there are many ways to have a great time with good, clean fun while learning about good, clean energy.

Take Part in Unbe-leaf-able Fall Events

Across Florida, there are many amazing events at our partner locations, several of which are free and offer the chance to celebrate our commitment to a cleaner planet.

Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and Movie Night – Make the most of spooky season by visiting Babcock Ranch for their Halloween Trunk-or-Treat and Movie Night on October 28, from 6-9 p.m. This event offers a unique trunk-or-treat experience, featuring a Halloween movie at 7:30 p.m. along with food trucks and free popcorn. Residents will be decorating their golf carts and bringing candy to distribute to the kids, who will be dressed in their spookiest costumes. Take a chance to enjoy a treat under one of our solar trees that will be lit up in Founder’s Square. Shake off the cobwebs and join this family night in a town powered by clean, solar energy.

2023 Fall Fest – Come join the festivities at the 2023 Fall Fest at the Paradise Coast Sports Complex on October 28 from 1-4 p.m. This annual festival features candy, games, bounce houses, face painting, costume contest, music and much more. This premier sports complex that features a variety of athletic events year-round also sports a solar tree that provides both shade and emissions-free energy for the community while you enjoy some awesome autumnal activities.

Palm Coast Arts Festival – Take part in an exciting and educational family-friendly event celebrating Mobility Week at the Palm Coast Community Center Sunday, November 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. This unforgettable experience for all ages includes regional artists and artisan crafters showcasing a variety of mediums for enjoyment and purchase. Local musicians will also be providing entertainment and food trucks will be on-site, offering local tasty treats. Be sure to snag a parking spot under our solar canopy that not only keeps your car cool but also feeds clean energy back into the grid.

Turn Over a New Leaf with Sustainable Energy

This Fall, we’re bringing a little sunshine to the season by adding an eco-friendly twist to the festivities. Using solar energy to help power trunk-or-treats, fall festivities, and other autumnal activities, Floridians can not only make memories with friends and family – they can also help make a positive impact on the environment.
