Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park
2520 NW 6th St. Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33311
This park honors one of the city’s first Black police officers, who served as a community activist, politician and civil rights leader. Here at his namesake park, a large solar canopy provides shade over the fitness area, while feeding clean energy to the local community. lt also empowers the community by giving visitors a chance to see solar energy up close.
